Pierre Galet's books are good for vinifera grapes otherwise there seems to
be little in print ...try the International VITIS Database

Galet covers more than vinifera, at least in his excellent 1998 edition of "Grape Varieties and Rootstock Varieties." He discusses vitis in general,...
