I read the message archive and it does appear that interest has been
slow...
Unfortunately, I am not much of a leader. I am relatively new to
grapes. I retired a couple years ago and planted a vineyard in
southeastern Montana. Actually the wife suggested a few vines and I
just followed my usual pattern - 'Anything worth doing is worth over-
doing'. Now I have about 250 vines and room for that many more.
Now I have acquired a copy a copy of 'A Practical Ampelography' and I
thought I might spend the winter learning to identify some of
the 'unknowns' that I run into. Maybe I could be of some use?
