Each winter I choose something to study - inside where it is warm. This
year the subject is ampelography. By spring I should be able to mis-
identify nearly any vine with authority.

Does anyone know of any ampelography databases readily available on the
internet?

The only one that I have really ever used is the Vitis Intl. Variety Database at http://www.genres.de/idb/vitis/ I hope this helps... Michel in Atlanta Carl...
