Hi, Nicole!

Since you're only a junior,
you still have a reasonable amount of time to decide
what area of chemistry to pursue, as examples:
nuclear, physics, organic, inorganic, industrial or
medical(genetics and biochemistry). All of these areas involves
analytical chemistry. In analytical chemistry, you must
follow intructions well, pay close attention to details
and record accurate data. Also, the pay depends on
the region of the world and type of work. The work
environment depends on the area. I work with industrial
chemicals which are unhealthy. I have an Associates Degree
in Chemical Engineering, and I am currently working
on my Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. Please take
the time now to look over information in all
chemistry areas before deciding. Starting now choose the
best area for you gives and you'll have plenty of time
to shape a career that you will enjoy. Another
thought, you might want think about writing chemistry
books or literature.
