I'm using Anfy2 with Vista and the demos (either by choosing one applet to
preview or preview all) are working fine.

Maybe you're using an old version...Sue

It works for me Bill but as IE is not my default browser I couldn't see the
previews until I got the fix - Anfy21-5 zip in the group files. I did as per
instructions and swapped the new exe for the one in the program folders and then
my previews worked....Pat

Just installed the lated version to see if there was any new additions and to
create some stuff for a website

Whenever I try preview any applet from the first stage or otherwise, it just
goes to ///C:/Program and says file not found.

Is that an installation error? I already tried reinstalling and same happened
again.

Thanks for any help

To get mine to work I had to go to the file section of the group and download a
replacement exe file. There are instructions if I recall correctly. Once I
swapped them over it worked perfectly.....Pat

I have been using your anfy apps since 1999, or rather I began using them way
back then when I first started creating web pages to use with Excite's Virtual
Places.

I rediscovered the app today after much searching and downloaded the app
again--it brought back many fond memories.

When I installed it on my computer, however, when I try to preview an applet, I
get a message that says "create process failed, verify browser setting."

I searched the forums but I haven't found any valid message within a number of
years. That message simply suggested to try uninstalling and reinstalling,
which I did but got the same problem.

I can use an on-line code generator from another site, but I would much rather
use your app.

* I can see the working applet on other web pages,
* I am running Java 6 update 17,
* I have Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.13
* I installed the app in a subdirectory on my G: drive.
* In Internet Options "Advanced" Tab, in the "Java (Sun) section, I have a check
in "Use JRE 1.6.0_17 for applet (requires restart)"

Please help me.

Kevin I had the same problem and found there is a fix exe file in the File

I was having no luck but finally found an answer when googling.
My last reply on that subject to someone else was in October and it is still
showing on the home page message list....Pat

I am in a web design class and need a fade slide show applet for my final
project- which is a portfolio ready website. I am not publishing the website,
just turning it in. How can I get the applet with changeable perimeters without
having a URL? I just need it for my homework, and would happily purchase it.

I haven't seen anything new since buying these apps several years ago.

Java applets are very useful. And have more capability that flash.

An applet that you can feed a list of text's to, with each one specifying
attributes such as font, color, start location, angle, xyz direction, speed, and
fade would be nice.

I used to code similar in VRML and had some great effects, but it seems like
VRML plugins for browsers are scarce these days.

Is it safe to purchase this product? has anyone had any problems recently with

What is the code, that for the people who have java, the effects are shown and
for the people who haven't java it shows only the jpg-picture (without effects)?
