This is agroup for all those interested in early English history not just the Angles but also the Saxons, Jutes, Frisians and others. The name "Anglii" is used because that is the first recorded form of the word that later became applied to the English. It is hoped that discussion will refer to all the above mentioned peoples and their neighbours, both on the continent and on the island of Britain.
