I wanted to say a quick word of thanks to everyone that helped
organize or attended the first annual APLN Atlanta Leadership Summit.

From an attendee, speaker, and sponsor point of view, the event was a
great success. Based on our last minute registrations, the event may
have even broke even or made a little money. We'll see after the
books are balanced later this week.

Our monthly meeting had really become a planning meeting for the
conference. We need to generate some discussion about the best format
for getting together moving forward.

I am excited about our community outreach program, hosting open
spaces, and leading the annual conference. We will need to decide if
we want to have a monthly face to face meeting in addition to these
activities or if we want to have a periodic planning and coordination
call.

Please give me your feedback whether APLN should have a monthly
chapter meeting moving forward.

For now, the third Monday meeting has been canceled. Let me know what
you think we should do moving forward!
