If you got a restore disk with the computer than just run it and see if
that works.

Dear A-plus,
I had a virus removed from my Compaque presario 5070 from Symantec in
Oregon, but now the main screen background is partially removed, and when
I
go to America Online, the icons are dotted and the pictures are too, the
typing is OK. When I called Symantec back they werent able to help me.
Is
there any place that I might start to get my full screen back, or someone
that can give me some suggestion. America Online has been unsuccessful.
