You clip the wrist strap to any nonpainted metal part of the case.

i understand a wrist strap is a piece of rubber with a resistor and wire that
attaches to something called a static strap. if i remember correctly static
straps are supposed to be plugged into the wall ? where does teh anti static
mat come into play ?
