I really believe sociology should be the study of how to make a better world.

I think the "Change the World" conversation is the proper domain of sociology.

Kenneth Boulding the economist noted the task of the social science
is to answer the question, what is better and how do we get there?

Today's sociologists are supremely inept at social change but I think
that should be our aspiration. Positive social change.

Good for whom? according to whom? Good for people. From
everything we have learned about people. (Human needs.....
happiness).
