Hello energetic editors,

Dale Winling has generously asked his students to contribute their historical research back to ArborWiki, which is an awesome idea.

Recent Changes is full of 500+ related edits, many of them image uploads. The students don't have a complete grasp of wiki markup, and there are a lot of inconsistencies, which is why we're here.

One idea for a simple cleanup is here:

* Images have been moved to a gallery tag
* Some categories, links have been replaced by Template:YPP (aka {{YPP}} in wiki markup)
* Spacing, misformed links have been fixed.

Also still needed:
* Categories should be standardized across contributors (each student contributed in slightly different ways)
* Citations should remain clear

Any organizing help can offer would be much appreciated!

I'm amazed that it took this long for any candidate/campaign to put up a bio.

This one looks 90% innocuous. Maybe a little refactoring to remove some of the more glowing adjectives, but I find it fairly restrained, as these things go.

At some point, might be worth a template for political candidates? Office running for, age, past political office, etc, etc.

I think it's great too; there's probably some usefulness to both
having a spot that candidates can self-publish information, and
where you get to see the edit trail of that process (including
the things that are removed e.g. the affiliation of the candidate's
spouse).

Matt, we can just do this out of our AADL budgets, it's not a big deal. If you're comfortable with that I can just have kip renew it for 10 years. The only catch is that you can't transfer within 30 days of an expiration. If you just want to renew it for a year for now, we can then get it transferred and AADL will buy a 10-year registration. The letter of agreement covers the domain if I recall correctly, so AADL can't keep it against your wishes. However if you would prefer to retain ownership of the domain, that's fine with me; I'll kick in personally.
