RE: [Archivists] Archivists archives

Hello all

Bryn Deamer asked if there were other similar projects to his at the Baha'i
World Centre Library, so I thought I'd point out PANDORA at the National
Library of Australia in case you hadn't already seen it. The URL is
http://pandora.nla.gov.au/pandora/
From here we provide access to our archived publications as well as details
about the project.

A particularly good article about PANDORA and it's development is in The
Journal of Electronic Publishing:
Ensuring Long-Term Access to Online Publications
http://www.press.umich.edu/jep/04-04/phillips.html

Our PADI (Preserving Access to Digital Information) web site also provides a
lot of useful information and references on the subject and issues of
archiving digital publications.

Hope you find this interesting and useful.

Cheers,
Deborah Woodyard
