FILM SHORT CONTEST - THE WORLD at WAR

Why access to history matters.
_________________________________________________________________

Join us for a free public showing of the top films at the San
Francisco Public Library -- Presidio Branch, Tuesday July 31, 2001 -
7:30 PM.
3150 Sacramento, San Francisco, CA 415.292.2155

Telling a Story
Time and social evolution provide new perspectives on the past. We
invited filmmakers to share their perspective of an historical event
associated with War. It could be a true story, a parody, or fiction,
utilizing free content to create the film. This content can be found
in archives all across the Internet, starting with the Internet
Moving Images Archive [http://www.moviearchive.org].

The contest's films are on our website at
http://ftp.archive.org/html/contest01/gallery.htm
