The Internet Archive built and drove a print-on-demand bookmobile across the
country as a demonstration of technology and public domain policy. The
interest has been phenomenal so we are proceeding to bring it into production.

What we need is more books scanned online (the Archive will host and do data
processing for free if others will upload tiff images of pages), and
print-on-demand deployment (about $3k equipment cost, about $1 per book cost).
