INTRODUCTION:

The ASC Buzz Group was created to help ASC members promote their sites and posts very quickly. By using a group concept we can leverage each others efforts quickly. If you've been posting to the Web 2.0 sites for a while, you know that whenever you Digg a story it doesn't gain much traction. You have to really work to get several Diggs or Shouts or whatever other service you are using.

Your constant participation in this group is REQUIRED. If you are not participating, then you will be removed from the group. It is paramount everyone takes the time to vote on other members posts.

Each email you receive from the group will have [ascbuzzgroup] in the subject line. DO NOT ignore these emails. You can setup rules in your email program to have emails with this subject line go in a specific folder.

RULES:

- You can only submit a post once a week
- Spammers will be removed from the group immediately

POSTING GUIDELINES:

1. Submit your chosen post to 4 of the following relevant sites: Digg, Netscape, Reddit, Shoutwire, Plime, PlugIM, MarkTD, StumbleUpon or FeedThe Bull. You can only post 4 links once a week when you post.

2. Copy the 4 link locations for your post. Make sure the link you copy is the correct link for voting. Please double-check this in another browser to make sure.

3. You must send an HTML message to the group. Address a new email message to: ascbuzzgroup@yahoogroups.com or you can use the Web features and submit your post from the group home page. Visit this message for an example:

4. The subject line should be your post title and the body should be your 4 links and with the corresponding link to vote like in the example:

5. Submit your post and do it again every 7 days with your best post of the week. DO NOT abuse the group or you will be removed.
