Hello everyone, I hope all is well with everyone after your return
home from the conference. I really appreciate having met all those of
you who attended, and it was a very fruitful, eye-opening experience
for me that I will never forget.
As I mentioned during my presentation, I am working on a project for
my Senior Thesis in Biology at Hamilton, and I am currently putting
together a survey to be administered before and after a short
informational talk on the basics of genetic information. I was
hoping/wondering if anyone has access to the International Bioethics
Survey used by Dr. Macer and Dr. Azariah during their study, or any
other survey that might be useful to duplicate during my study.
(Seeing as the reproduction of previously used surveys not only is
more credible, but also provides an opportunity for cross-cultural
comparison)
The preliminary survey will focus on assessing the basic knowledge
level about genetic information and the social/political issues that
arise with the development of biotechnology.
So, if anyone has advice or survey questions to offer, I would very
much appreciate it!
Thank you!! Best wishes and peace and OBAMA!!!
