The objective of establishing this network of VLSI enginners is to establish Pakistan in the ASIC/ASSP/SOC arena by

1) Promoting VLSI related activities in Pakistan Universities through Coursework, Research Projects, and Training, to get trained manpower.

2) Establishing design centres to provide services to the VLSI industry.

3) Providing technical/entrepreneur support to engineers in Pakistan in this arena.

4) Establishing research labs in Pakistan
