Re: Ask Uncle Martin anything you like - but a meaningful answer requires a meaningful question... Re: Gods and Godesses - Familiar Values

I don't know about women being less violent than males. But they are definently
more mental (no, not psycho) than men, thus giving the illusion that they are
less violent. I find that women can be just as violent as men, if not more so,
they simply express their violence mentaly making them more dangerous than men.

But don't get me wrong, I don't hate women at all. I just want people to see
things in light of reality.

Many places on Earth are 'run' by women today. Many 'native' tribes,
such as the Hopi, are utterly matriarchal. Even more 'advanced'
cultures in parts of India, for instance, are purely matriarchal.
For most of hominid history the world has been comprised of many
different styles of culture and politics. While it's true to say that
much of the world today is run by patriarchies, this is not ubiquitous.
The coming of the Old Worm and the beginning of the antediluvian
civilization now referred to as 'Atlantis' altered this world utterly.
Before the coming of this ultimate patriarch, the Great Mother
presided over a number of cults - including that of her progeny, the
Twin Kings of the ancient world. Most of this world was run for
children by women up until this time - but the question as to whether
it was a better place is a subjective value judgement, in most ways.
However - under the rule of the matriarchs the system was at least as
unfair as that operant under the patriarchs.
Your current world and worldview now evolving is a precious jewel of
egalitarianism unprecendented in the history of your species.
