Who is the real Father of VRS? The question popped in my head for
quite a while. I decided to set out and do a bit of poking around and
researching. I asked all major VRS providers: Sprint, CSD, Sorenson
and HOVRS.
Read the article what I found and named the Father of VRS at:

I wanted to let you know that you can get a free demo from Signs of
Development with some of their workshops (sample of them) sent to
you! I have watched one workshop and the quality is fabulous with
activities just like a regular workshop so I wanted the demo to see
what other workshops are available. They have a ton of workshops that
they are working on, but the ones they have done and have put samples
on the demo look wonderful. I want them all. I really encourage you
to take advantage of this kind of training because, as a mom, I can
get good training in my own home and don't have to leave my family as
much PLUS I can watch it over and over again and I see so many
different signing styles to be exposed to instead of like at school
with the same student everyday. This is such an awesome opportunity
for interpreters and I am so thankful for it! The cost of the cds are
about the same as regular training if you think about the savings for
travel and babysitter and maybe missing work so really if you think
about all of that, it's a great deal. And you get CEUs with the
workshops by just answering a test and can loan them out and earn
more free workshops. I strongly encourage you to get a demo cd if you
are not sure about the quality by going to their web site and
submitting a request for a demo at www.signs-of-development.org and
they will send it to you FREE!!!
Hi... Hope this list is still alive, was viewing the archives...not
much activity, but any of you ASL interpreters check out
www.signs-of-development.org
Cool workshops all done in ASL specifically for professional
development and they come with CEU credits.... the cool thing is you
take these workshops, via CD-Rom...

Hi... just received a message from ONElist saying that if onelist mailing lists
are not used for a period of 90 days, they are deemed inactive and can be
deleted by the server... so I'm just keeping this list active by sending a
message...
there is discussion in my mailboxes and in alt.support.loneliness about
re-activating the website and forums... Bill (Mr. Bill) has created a new forum
for discussion of page building and site details, if you're interested in
participating in or communicating about the site you can join at:
