Nice job of processing, John!  I like it a lot!  There is no green cast that
does not belong.  Background sky is black; the rest is nebulosity.  Richard
Crisp used to say that the honest narrowband imager always left some green in a
Hubble palette image to remind him of the dominant Ha.

Best regards,

John

I took the shots for this image many months ago, but my processing skills
weren't up to the task. John Ebersole took mercy on me and provided a lot of
help, along with a benchmark image he posted back then. The spirit of
helpfulness in this hobby is unlike any other. I recall sending John one of my
early "hacks", and him replying with a massive understatement that it was a bit
"garish". I looked back at it recently, and had to laugh out loud.

Back to the story, I picked this image up, and applied tricks to it, never
satisfied. But I believe this is the best I can do it and I'm promising myself
to just "leave it alone". It represents about 15 hours of SHO data acquired view
a rented STL11K and FSQ.

The image still has a host of things I will fix someday; some noise, a bit of
green cast and it appears a bit too "flat". But I will wait a couple of years
before I get around to them.
