Well, I think it's a great idea!
At the Astrofaces site, there is a business card that can be printed.
Go to the "Send Photos" page, and look for the link that says "if you
would like to help publicise the project..." - that opens the card
graphic. These could be printed and given out if people feel inspired
to do that to intruduce people to the Astrofaces project.
As to actually meeting doubles, that might be difficult, because they
would probably be in another country! We have photos from people all
around the world. We will certainly forward all letters to
respondents, if we have their email address. It's up to them to
respond. Unfortunately, there are many photos that arrived without
emails via the upload form, or from temporary email addresses.
Even though it can be fun trying to guess, we wouldn't want to arrange
the project photos only by sun sign, appearance and educated
guesswork. The goal of the Astrofaces project is to show modern
scientists that there are reproducible measurements to astrology - to
have computer analysis with facial recognition software that will show
a statistical correlation between the appearance and the birth chart.
All the best,
Moshe

When anyone sees a potential 'double' on the street, they can hand the
stranger the astroface letter and say "I think that a friend of mine
is your double, so give me your email and phone number and I'll tell
them to contact you." and/or "Go to abc where he/she works and see for
yourself" The prestigiously worded letter handed out at the same time
as you speak removes the fear of a stranger approaching, and the human
nature ego response of most recipients is teased by

on the Sun sign ( only for this proposed project ). Once you have
posted the photo matches perhaps you can attempt to analize for
matches of their more error prone moon or ascendant. Without
presuming what forces contribute to the face, this approach might show
that the Sun sign controls more of specific features. Am I nuts, or
if it's not too labour intensive do you think you could modify this
idea into something useful ?
