Well, I've never joined an online group before and now, minutes
after joining this one, I've tried to post messages haphazardly. I
now have taken the time to read all of the previous entries and feel
up to date with the group. Now, I would like to give my whole story,
with regards to this project. In 2001, I met another musician and we
decided to try and play together. Shortly after we began, an uneasy
feeling came over me. We were saying things in the same ways, with
simiiar speech patterns and mannerisms. I asked him his birthdate.
His name is Nick and his birthdate is May 21, 1979. My name is Mike
and my birthdate is May 25, 1979. Immediately, I was awe-struck. We
began to share experiences. I had lost my left eye on June 3, 1994
and he had lost his right eye on May 13, 1994, just 20 days apart.
From that day on, I was on a mission. I studied books on astrology
and mythology for a few years. During these studies, I came to
several distinct revelations. Odin the wanderer was the norse
equivelant of Mercury or Hermes. He sacrifices his eye for wisdom.
When I lost my eye at the age of 15, I felt that it was going to tell
me something, that it was meant to be for a reason. Well, when I met
Nick, it did help show me something. We are gem in eyes. I had a
seizure the day I met Nick, and as I was nearing unconsciousness, my
mind fixated on a single thought and I heard almost like an alien
voice inside my mind "I am Jesus Christ". Now, I am not or do not
believe that I am a return of Christ or anything like that. Whatdo
think is that the story of Jesus and the disciples is an allegory for
the signs of the zodiac with Jesus and Thomas being representative of
Gemini the twins.(If you are in doubt of this idea, please ask
questions, please question me). Anyways, I am that prototype.
Mercury, the messenger of the original will. I have strayed from the
point, but with purpose. I came to a point where I wasn't sure
exactly what I should be communicating. I knew that the moment a
person was concieved left an imprint on a person's physical
characteristics as well as their personality. But, how can one
translate subjective experience and knowledge? Pictures! To quote
Bob Dylan, "Really the truth is just a plain picture". I found the
astrofaces project shortly thereafter a few years ago, while looking
to see if someone had already had my idea. You had, but not
exactly. My idea was to take a particular race and gender from a
particular year, gather pictures and line them up in order from Jan.
1 to Dec. 31. Of course, the more pictures the better. I still
believe strongly that this is my destiny and will be my life's work.
A COUPLE OF NIGHTS AGO, THE WINTER SOLSTICE JARRED ME BACK TO WORK.
So, I remembered this site and thought It might be fruitful for me to
reach out to someone who had the same or similiar idea. Well, I
don't have much luck getting taken seriously about this, but I am a
serious person, with good motives, such as contributing the
progression of mankind. I hope this translates into a multi
dimensional conversation.
