Welcome to this discussion group! We are all happy to have you join. It is exciting times as we are in middle of the most recent 2012 NASA ASCAN selection. The main purpose of the group is to exchange personal experiences with the selection process, and other ideas and information concerning the selection process for NASA's mission specialists and pilot candidates. Other Astronaut Selection (such as commercial astronauts) discussion is also welcome if it is in keeping with the spirit of the original intent of the group.
