Description

This group is focused on supporting amateur astronomers interested in Spectroscopy. Our aim is to provide resource material and assistance to both the beginner and the more experienced amateur. A Littrow spectroscope Kit - Spectra-L200 has been designed and manufactured for the benefit of the members.(Available to members who do not currently own a commercial instrument - SBIG/Shelyak/Baader etc.)

We also provide an ongoing discussion forum for Stephen Tonkin's "Practical Amateur Spectroscopy" book, as well as
"Astronomical Spectroscopy for Amateurs" and
"Grating Spectroscopes - How to use them", all published by Springer.
