Please find below two new;ly formed regional chapters of Paksef, this by no means will be a general discussion forum for S&T, paksef@yahoogroups.com will continue to serve the purpose of general (unmoderated) discussions.

 

PakSEF North America is an afilliate chapter of PakSEF. The purpose of this E-Forum is to keep the North American Pakistani Science and Engineering professional and student informed about the local North American Scientific and technology community.

This E-Forum unlike paksef will be a strcitly moderated forum where information relevent to North America wll be posted.

Also Paksef-NA will in the long run act as a place to pool the ideas, enthusiasim and desire to serve of the Pakistani professional in a manner which will hopefully lead to partnerships in S&T ventures in Pakistan, both from a academic research standpoint and commercial standpoint.

You might be thinking that there are such organzations, e.g. OPEN, APSENA an d SV-PAK. Paksef-NA isn't a replacement, its purpose is to hopefully act as an umberalla group where discourse and information can be shared across organizational and instituational lines.
