High focal length lenses are rather reasy to obtain. You can get 1 diopter and less (1000 mm and above) lense from any optician. Its a fact that these are not...
I think the opticians only have small aperture lenses suited for spectacles. Such a small aperture will not gather any light to give you a resonable image...
