Astronomy Clubs of India & Worldwide, is a group of individuals in India interested in carrying out activities in the field of astronomy & allied sciences. Initial members were mainly from Ahmedabad, Gujarat State, however owing to its popularity & friendly nature of posts, foreign members including scientists, Office bearers / trustees of various astronomy clubs & amateur groups worldwide have subscribed. If you are student, a beginner, an amateur astronomer or a seasoned astronomer and would like to learn or ask questions or share your experience, this is the place for you. Though astronomy, planetary & space science are the main topic you are free to post human interest stories, as long you do not break the laws of our country. Discussions on telescopes types, telescope making & selection, astro photography, search for comets & asteroids, meteor showers, binary stars, variable stars, double stars, Super Nova, Pulsars, Quasars, NOVA patrol, meteorite hunting/collections & identifications, occultations, astronomy softwares, CCDs, astro physics, black holes, deep sky, Extra Solar Systems, messier objects, space probes etc. are encouraged. You can also discuss astronomy club activities, club regulations, membership structure, academic pursuit in various branches of sciences. We all believe that astronomy can also be fun. After all we have just one life bearing planet Earth and perhaps only one life. You can be from any part of this globe to join as long as you stick to the subject and avoid commercial posts.
