Thanks for posting the AstroTrac Manual, ver 2.0 in the Files Area   Message List

Richard, I really appreciate your posting the manual in the files
area.
I also got to the store and picked up a 22amp battery charger with a
sturdy carrying handle and two cigarette lighter accessory outlets...
and both work!! :)

I tested the AstroTrac on it. Worked fine. I even used my averted
vision and imagined I could see the blinking green light reflecting
off the total cloud cover overhead.

I have a three day weekend coming up in four days. I will monitor
GOES-12 and hope to drive to some of my usual 6.0 haunts within 6 hrs
of Chicago.

Keith, I thought your photos looked very choice. You are
correct...they will look much better with a larger .jpg posting. Does
this group have a maximum file size limit for posting our photos?

Richard, I thoght the 17/P Holmes comet photo with the California
nebula was also very well done. The photo area certainly gives me
some good stuff against which I can measure my progress.

As Ever,
