Hi Rick,
It would great to see some pics of your finder solution. This is
something we definitely need to sort out in the near future. As focal
length increases much over 400 mm, it can be fun and games trying to
frame targets which you can't see through the viewfinder!
A means of attaching to the hot shoe would be great. Perhaps we need
to source some decent finders and machine a Delrin foot which attaches
to the finder and allows it to slot into the camera hotshoe, as you
suggest.
