Geotext is a good client. You could do worse than handle their trial
translation.

Actually, I just now received another request from a
company called "Geotext" in San Francisco and tried to
provide them a legal translation in PDF format again.
I almost decided to return them my work since they
were one of the exhibitors in ATA conference and
advertise in Multilingual magazine.

I rejected a few times that I do not have time to go
over their smaple translation because my translation
job is lined up, but they continued to insist me to
finish just about half of it. I extended due date for
two more weeks from the due date they have requested,
but I am still in dilemma whether I should provide it
for free or not. Not many companies can extend their
due date for two more weeks if it is an actual
project.

I will take your advice seriously.

P.S. I saw your website, and I was surprised that
your office is located in Irving, Texas. I lived
there for three years for my previous job, and I still
have a few good friends. I still remember Korean
markets and restaurants in Irving. Since I've moved
to Denver, I always wanted to go back there with my
wife since she also has some friends, who moved to
Texas from Colorado. I do not know when I am going to
go back to see my and my wife's friends in Texas. Can
I contact you when we get there next time? Since you
are a treasurer, I will see you again in San Francisco
at KLD meeting if you have registered for the
