Hi all,<br>I'm new to the Atari 8-bit world. I
have an Atari 600XL, 800XL and 130XE. I've been told
that the best DOS to use is DOS 2.5. But when I boot
my DOS disk it says Atari XE Operating System. I
have a DOS 2.5 boot disk, but I get a boot error when
I try to boot that. On the XL and XE computers, how
does one make a bootable DOS 2.5 disk?<br><br>Also,
when do you know to use the translator disk? I know I
have to use it on Frogger. Do you just try it with any
disk that gives you a boot error? I just bought about
150-200 disks of programs on eBay and I'm wondering if
there is an easy way to know or if it's just trial and
