Job Description: Experienced WebSphere System Administrator to provide technical
leadership role in web enabling of legacy applications. Acts as a subject matter
expert on AIX, WebSphere, and JAVA to Information Technology (IT) staff. Ensures
stable operation of middleware system in a 24X7 environment. Monitors system
resource usage by middleware and related products. Alerts IT management and
takes appropriate action when faults are detected and or system performance
degraded. Works with Information Technology staff members to develop common
standards, policies, and procedures.

Required Skills: ·Ten years of full-time work in the Information Technology
field
·Two plus years system administration experience working with IBM’s WebSphere
Application Server
·Five plus years as UNIX Systems Administrator with at least 1 year with IBM’s
AIX
·Two years working experience with JAVA.

Minimum Years of experience needed for required skills: 2
Preferred Skills: ·At least 2 years of AIX Systems administration
·Recent experience writing JAVA Servlets
·At least 2 years writing scripting language such as Perl
·At least 1 year experience with HTML, XML, and JSP’s.
·Experience with DB2
·Experience with CICS Transaction Server and CICS Transaction Gateway (CTG)
·Working knowledge of communications protocols, such as SNA and TCP/IP
·Microsoft EXCEL, Project, and WORD.
