Re: AAA Battery Player?

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm pretty sure my friend will be getting a Rio
Forge. I do have one question: what do you mean by "accessable" in your first
sentence?

Thanks,
-barry

not. If that's not an issue this is probably the best player ever made for
audiobooks. It works with Audible and Overdrive and NetLibrary and all
subscription services. It's great with MP3 audiobooks. It has more audiobook
related features than any player. It's resume is very stable. It has
bookmarks. It even remembers it's place if the battery dies.

card it becomes a 2 gig player. I never bother with the on-board memory.

their help section and type in Rio Forge it takes you to everything you need. I
still use mine at times and I have the latest Audible software.

which can be found easily by googling "Rio Forge firmware". That firmware adds
a number of new and very nice features. They released it long after the player
was no longer being made.

authorized dealer. I've bought a few from them and so have a number of other
people, at my suggestion. One person got a bad one and they replaced it.

I have to agree with Barry about the Rio Forge being the best player I've ever tried for audio books. I have tried a sansa and an Ipod and still use my Forge...
