Hello all,

I recently picked up an A2k, and popped it open to look inside. I
noticed two ROMs installed (no empty slot). I also notice what looked
like a little SIP package in the upper right hand corner of the board
that was empty. Looks like perhaps a little chip goes in there.

Anyway, my machine only is v1.0 as reported when it boots up. My
question is, why are there two ROMs in this box if its only a 1.0? Do
Auditys come with an empty slot?

The other question is that if that 2nd ROM is indeed the Xtreme ROM,
could it be that I am missing the OS upgrade?

Any opinions would be appreciated.
