Hiya, as far as I know this is a software upgrade, not hardware just
like most of the proteus 2 series, I owned an Audity before, also a
PK6 and XL-1, two of these were upgraded with software, the Audity
incl.Emu's just being greedy and trying to get us all down their
software route, that's why they removed support from their
hardware,just like apple did w/ Emagic, stopping support for
sounddiver, this upgrade was downloaded by me from EMU's site one and
a half year's ago, I am trying to get hold of the person I sold my
Audity to as I supplied them w/ the OS upgrade on disk(I just bought
another one after regreting selling mine, unfortunately, it came w/
an 1.0 OS), someone out there must have it, I haven't tried to
contact EMU yet, but will very soon.Cheers everybody
