Description

This list has been established to explore the idea of a new umbrella organization for the international auxiliary language community. Its main task is to discuss the rules of operation, role and scope of such an organization. More generally it will enable discussion on the possibility of dialog and cooperation between the various language movements.

The primary language of the group is English (all lists at YahooGroups must have a primary language specified), but posts in any national or international language will be acceptable, the onus being on members to make themselves understood. Members should use whichever language they feel appropriate to this aim. In general the policy on language use is not different to that of Auxlang.

Members are asked to restrict discussions whenever possible to the stated topic of the list, and to use the Auxlang list for general IAL-related discussions.

The list is unmoderated, open to all and its archives are public.

... My concern about wikis is that they seem to be less collaborative efforts and/or multi-way dialogs as pre-emptive monologs. You write something on a wiki
