Overland's Business Systems team, based at our San Diego headquarters, is
responsible
for developing, administering and supporting our enterprise software systems,
including
Oracle eBusiness Suite (CRM), BaaN IV (ERP), Agile (PDM/PLM), Eyelit (MES),
Cognos (BI) and
other manufacturing, finance, sales and engineering applications. Within the
team this
position focusses on our BaaN system, supporting our financial and reporting/BI
systems.
Our new business systems analyst will be responsible for:
Administering and supporting the core BaaN IVc4 ERP system, supporting the
finance,
logistics, sales, manufacturing and engineering functions, providing advanced
functional
support and troubleshooting, managing configuration and rights. Support and
administer
integrated interfaces and systems in functional areas including payroll, GL,
financial
reporting, AP. Loading and testing patches, customizations, maintaining table
data to
support integrated applications.
Assist with the analysis of BaaN data including configuration and administration
of the
Cognos series 7 business intelligence tools, maintaining reporting catalogs,
designing and
validating SQL queries against multiple business systems, supporting the current
global
business intelligence initiatives.
Evaluate and escalate support issues as required internally, working with
external
developers and with BaaN Support.
Candidates must have experience providing functional support for BaaN IV
specifically
including the finance modules, integration, multicompany consolidation,
distribution and
manufacturing including item and BOM control, administrative functions such as
GTM,
tools functions, assigning session and module level rights. Experience with
Cognos
Impromptu, Finance (Consolidation), PowerPlay, DecisionStream, HRMS
(specifically
Ceridian), Informix RDBMS (supporting BaaN), SQL and Oracle databases, BaaN
function
servers, BaaN V or LN, Agile or Oracle eBS would also be highly desirable.
