But I figure everyone on the list already knows these.

By the way, the hardest thing about making this list of
laws is figuring out what order to put them in. I try to
put the "important" laws towards the top, but I also try to
put "related" laws near each other. That's why, for
example, Poor's Law is near Moore's Law even though Poor's
Law, unlike Moore's Law, is rarely cited. Of course neither
goal can be achieved perfectly. I put Asimov at the end
because his laws aren't "real" laws. But then again,
neither are some of the others... like Cole's Law, and some
laws were supposed to be "real" but are wrong, e.g.
Gilder's Law... So maybe they should go somewhere else.
Anyway, you don't have to read this paragraph, I'm just
rambling, but you did anyway, didn't you?
