Re: [bamboo-plantations] Growing Bamboo - A Newbie Question

Hello Rick,

I am going to complain. I wish that people asking questions like this would say where they are located. It is presumptuous to think that people know which kind of bamboo will grow in your backyard. Florida? Ohio? Paris? New Orleans?

This is a worldwide group concerned with bamboo plantations. For information about backyard hedges, please go to the American Bamboo Society web site and find members in your state. These people will know what grows best in your area.

Hello everyone,

I am interested in planting a neat row of bamboo to eventually use a decorative wall in my backyard. From what I read I don't know how feasible this is, or if I will be able to keep it "neat", but thought I would ask for your thoughts?

Thanks!

Rick
