Description

Discussion of all aspects of Bamboo. Cultivation, use, identification,history,care,along with tips on best time to dig up or plant bamboo + etc Any thing pretaining to bamboo feel free to talk about or ask.

There are two types of Bamboo:

Sympodial=clumping bamboo and Monopodial=running bamboo)

Please feel free to ask questions ,for that is how we learn.

I am no expert as some are ,but i am growing almost 50 different kinds of bamboo on my n/e tn mountains (USDA-Zone-6/Sunset Zone -36)so i may have some knowledge that might help out.I also own my own bamboo group called "Bamboo_World.

I couldn't agree more, so people might poo poo bamboo because it comes from china, even though organic cotton from california might be far less green - all

Sorry, you're missing the point. I didn't say Mother Jones' point wasn't valid, it is slightly valid to wonder about how biogegradable clothes are, but 1.
