First of all, sorry for spamming all of you on a non-"Bar"Camp related topic.
I'm trying to organize the first ever "TelCamp" (intended to be similar to a
BarCamp) which is focused on .Tel technology. .Tel is a new top-level domain
name that has been introduced in the last few months that allows storage of
contact information directly in the DNS layer. This simplification allows for
instant information updates + true accessibility from any mobile device.
You can get an idea of how it can be used by viewing the video on:
http://telnic.org/ (explore the website if you like)
I don't intend to start a debate on whether .Tel makes sense or not (there are
other forums for that). I am seeking help from people here to help me arrange a
venue within MIT for this event.
Please contact me directly at contact@... if you can help with the
process or if you need any clarifications.
The wiki is at: http://www.telcampus.org --> TelCamp --> TelCampBoston
Thanks,
Sid
