I did try V7.3-171. I copied the tar file to my home directory and used the command
- Start a Terminal session
- cd ~/
- tar xzf bemacs-mac-os-x-intel-V7.3-171.
gim-homs-macbook:~ gimhom$ cd ~/bemacs-kit/be
-bash: cd: /Users/gimhom/bemacs-kit/be: No such file or directory
gim-homs-macbook:~ gimhom$
The folder be is missing in /emacs-kit.
Do take your time on this one. My workaround is to create a virtual XP system with VMware Fusion and using the XP version.
Thanks very much for your effort on this.
Regards,
Gim

Seems like a missing file? It's the Motif library.Do you have an Intel or PPC Mac?I may need to build the kit again and use static linking of Motif.Barry
