The Bay Area Regional Science Olympiad promotes and supports science education and achievement. Participating schools organize students into teams to compete in an annual tournament of science events. Science teachers serve as coaches and mentors. Winning teams have the opportunity to compete at the State level. All eligible students are encouraged to participate! Note:
Currently, the Bay Area Regional tournament is only open to high school students (grades 9-12). We hope to expand to middle and elementary school in the future! If you are looking for a region that is open to middle or elementary grades, please check out the state website at:
