NEW! --- BEAM HEXAPOD -- with video! --come and see!--   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #19029 of 59767 |
Ok guys,
I thought I might wait till I dressed it up a bit and trimmed the wires, but
I figgured, 'oh what the heck!'

I present to you folks the first ever video documentaion of a BEAM HEXAPOD
in action.
(and they said it couldn't be done!)

Math Vos beat me to the construction (and a nice bot it is too!) with a
toally different circuit, and I'm sure it works, but here is the first proof
to the sceptics and historians that one exists and really is in operation!

It can do everything a microprocessor (3 servo) hexapod can do.

Richard Piotter had the first ideas, Wilf designed the basic circuit, Bruce
modified it, and I road tested it.

The bot is still rough, I didn't think you guys would mind. Keep in mind
he's got some dressing up to do.

I got a simple write-up, schematic, some pics, and four videos in various
sizes at:
http://members.tripod.com/sparkybots/hexapod.htm

Tell me what you think
-Sparky

You could use any of the mismatched stuff, but you'd have to play around with the part values. If enough people are interested, it would be under 10 bucks. Ori...

I did some pricing, and it would cost 10 bucks each (closer to 9.80) for 6 boards. If you would get a board, I'd want a board, and I think that Sparky would...
