1st Solar Walker!!!! ;-)   Message List

hi,
im planning my first solar walker. i figured that alll
it is is a SE Miller or other type connected to a
master/slave, quad or other bicore setup. im going to
use a Miller Engine connected to a quad-bicore setup.
am i right in replacing where the motor in the Miller
Engine would normally be with the bicore setup, or is
there another way to go about this? another thing,
when looking up the quad-bicore (im not sure if this
is its proper nam, if not please correct me), (Pic2)
the pattern in which the Nv nets go is: Nv1, Nv2, Nv3,
Nv4, and this pattern then cycles back to the
beginning. but when i setup the circuit on my PC as a
simulation (cause i dont have all the right bits
laying about) it had a different pattern: Nv1 and Nv3
then Nv2 and Nv4, and if i setup the circuit but with
the motors as suggested neither motor would work
because it would be recieving a charge from both its
connections. so i just wanted to know which one is,
with simulations being crap (well in expirience).

Thanx

Fred

Hi Fred, Looks like you're well into developing the next stage of a microcore (check http://encyclobeamia.solarbotics.net/front.html for reference) also known...

oops, I just assumed microcore=74HC14 Yes you are right for all the reasons you mentioned. To rephrase, the inverters must have hysteresis (e.g. 74HC14) since...
