This is my first post. I found Linda Moran's website while
researching Math Investigations. BTW, what happened to Beyond Terc on
Squidoo?

I live in Oklahoma. Our public school started using TERC several
years ago. I have two children, one in 3rd and one in 1st. My
daughter is approximately 1 year behind in math. Although her teacher
always says she is right on track (TERC standards). I have only
started to worry about my son. I hate this math program and so do
many other parents. I can't understand why a school would choose a
program that has failed in many other schools. I have Singapore math
books for my children but it is hard to get them to do math when they
have been at school all day. I know many parents who have moved their
children or began homeschooling.
