There is a group in Prince William County fighting the math program.? I'm not a
citizen of the county but you are and I was wondering if you would sign their
petition on my behalf.? This math program is different from Josh's but just as
crippling.? The worst part is that they won't allow a school to use anything but
this due to funding from the government and other organizations.?

Many if not all of you know (particularly those of you with K-3
children) that last year our school district adopted a
radical "reform" math program - TERC "Investigations" - that is
undermining our students' education. Despite the fact that this
program has an ongoing record of failure in state after state and
school district after school district across the nation, PWCS is
committed to experimenting with our children using "Investigations"
as the only acceptable elementary math program permitted in our
schools. As parents and citizens, we need to stop the madness and act
now to restore quality, proven, traditional math in our schools.

if you are a resident of PWC and over 18 please read and sign the
