Description

Welcome to the Binocular Astronomy Group!

Our group is devoted to binocular users who use their binoculars for astronomy. Posts to the group, by necessity, have to be "on-topic", specifically related to using binoculars for astronomical observation including selection and purchase of same, targets for those binoculars, etc. Posts, even if they are broadly related to astronomy, but not about binocular use, will be blocked or deleted. (Comet and other event alerts are fine.) Posts which either start as or become a two way conversation between two members will be deleted. Please use your private e-mail for such exchanges. Postings to the group should be of benefit to the group.

Note to all members, long time and new alike - the messages which make up this forum is like a library.....do a little research using the "Search" function and you will find a lot. Same goes for a quick visit to the "Files" and "Photos" sections of this group.

We encourage all who have a question to take a little time first and do some quick research to see if your question has already been answered. If you then find that your question has not been answered at all, or only partially, post a new question to the group so that we can help you out. With better than ten years under our belt, we have a lot of information already here, just waiting to be dusted off and read once again!

If anyone has a good picture they would like to have considered for the Home Page, please let me know. The Home Page photo is changed on a regular basis.
