Algorithm Test Engineer

Working closely with algorithm developers, scientists and software
testers, you will test algorithms written in MatLab, C++, or Java,
which are designed to process gene expression/microarray data. Tasks
include writing test plans and cases, selecting statistically sound
test suites from large data sets, writing test tools in MatLab and
Java, and generating reports.

This position requires a BS in Math, Bioinformatics, Chemistry,
Biology, Bioengineering, or equivalent experience. MS or PhD is
preferred.

Requires demonstrable programming experience in MatLab, C/C++, or
Java. General knowledge in one of the following areas is essential:
pattern recognition, statistical data analysis, microarray
technology, and image and database analysis. Experience in
sequencing, gene expression, or genotyping analysis tools is a plus.
Expertise in MatLab is a plus.
