Motif 04: National level symposium on Bioinformatics, Oct 5th 2004.

We the students of Bioinformatics from Bharathiar university,
coimbatore, Tamil Nadu are conducting a one day National level
symposium, Motif 04, on October 5th 2004.
 
Motif 04 is organised to give an exposure to the emerging trends
in Bioinformatics.
 
We are inviting oral presentation and poster presentation from
all the areas in bioinformatics focusing on the topics given below.
 
Paper Presention topics:
1. Sequence Analysis
2. Molecular Modeling
3. Evolution & Phlyogenetics
4. Protein/RNA structure Prediction
5. Comparative genomics

Poster Presentation topics:
1. Functional genomics
2. Gene discovery
3. Aritifical Intelligence in Bioinformatics
4. Applications of Bioinformatics
 
Eligibility:
Students from Universities, Research Institutes, Colleges are
invited.
 
Submission of Abstracts:
Abstract of the paper (about 250 words) should be prepared using
MS word 6.0 (or any compatible version), Times New Roman font
size 12, 1.5 line spacing, and justified alignment within a A4 page
sent through email as attachement file. Name of the presenting
author must be highlighted. The abstract should givea sufficient
details of results ans scope for discussion for the readers to
understand the significance of the work. Subsequent to this circular,
all our future correspondence unless otherwise wanted it will be
through E-mail only.

Last date for submission of abstracts:           Septemeber, 30, 2004
(Both soft copy and hard copy)
Last date for communication of acceptance:  October, 2nd, 2004
(as oral/ Poster presentation)
Last date for Registration:                            October 3rd, 2004
